About

Education, language, and the work between them.

I’m the founder and director of Worldwide English Services, an education company I started in 2011.

At WES, I lead sales and program design and work with a distributed team of teachers and project managers. The work calls for equal attention to the big picture and the practical details: understanding what people need, shaping the right program, and helping a team deliver it well.

Alongside WES, I have worked independently as a Russian-to-English translator since 2012. Both roles require practical decisions about language, context, and delivery.

The work

Two parts of my work.

At WES, I work across sales, program design, and delivery with distributed teams. In translation, I carry meaning and tone into clear English for the intended reader.

Education leadership

Worldwide English Services

Since founding WES in 2011, I have led client conversations, designed programs, and coordinated the teachers and project managers who deliver them.

Language practice

Translation with context

I have worked independently as a translator since 2012, with experience across marketing, game localization, literature, and international-relations material. Every text has its own setting, audience, and job to do.

03

Translation

Russian to English, with the reader in mind.

Good translation carries more than meaning. It carries tone, intention, and the relationship a text wants to build with its reader.

I translate from Russian into English and have been active as a freelance translator since May 2012. My experience includes marketing and game localization, literary work, and texts in international relations.

I approach each assignment as a piece of communication in its own right: attentive to the source, natural in English, and shaped for the people who will actually read it.
